Ikivi Foundation started in February 2017 as a non-profit organization that aims to promote peace and women empowerment in the remote area. Socially we teach them about unity and reconciliation (forgiveness) and economically we give them a capacity building in small businesses mostly in agriculture and provide skills for entrepreneurship mindset.

We have approached 156 families, understand them through storytelling, and motivate them to reach their potential and put them into cooperative. Most of them are Genocide women survivors and Ikivi Foundation provides them capacity building on entrepreneurship and emphasizes ND’UMUNYARWANDA Program.
We believe that peace starts inside, and Women are the peace agent therefore they can define their future, and can change the world.
